Good morning!
Home Equity
I’m becoming less convinced that building wealth through appreciating home equity is beneficial as I used to think. I also think we have a lot of policies used to support that goal that also aren’t helpful and cause some unintended outcomes. I wrote all about it on LinkedIn. Can you review and let me know what I’m missing?
Lowered Barriers
If you’ve been getting this newsletter for any amount of time, you know how much I love the idea of reducing barriers to entry for Commercial Real Estate. I saw a great LOCAL example last weekend at Shelley Lake. Total cost? One sign. (Yes, I know there are other hidden/administrative costs)
Shelley Lake is now part of the Park Food Vendor program. While food trucks are allowed at other locations, the Shelley Lake location allows businesses to set up a food cart at the entry (near Sertoma Art Center) to the greenway.
I think this is a FANTASTIC IDEA! It’s an excterlely low cost and tactical way to bring value to residents and local businesses.
Book Update
As of yesterday, all Kickstarter rewards have been shipped! That phase of the project is now complete and it’s on to general marketing and sales of the books.
Thank you for your support of the project over the last 18 months!
Best Regards,
